And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Stephen Egham!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Ackerman and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Egham. Cash shrugs it off though.
Nice takedown defense from Egham. No joy for Cash on that attempt.
Egham fails with the takedown
and Cash counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Egham darts in looking for a takedown but Cash gets double underhooks and turns Egham into the cage.
Egham shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Cash but Cash pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Mauricio Cash has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stephen Egham.

Egham shoots for a double leg takedown but Cash sprawls well. He's pushed Egham's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Egham throws an elbow that misses. Cash uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Egham's guard. Nice move by Cash!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Egham is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Cash scores with a couple of nice shots.

Cash is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Egham defends it well.
Egham wants to control but Cash is keeping busy.
Egham is controlling Cash's position as best he can from this difficult position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Egham wants to control but Cash is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Cash working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Egham is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Cash's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Cash's back!
Egham slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Egham is not going to allow Cash to sit and survive in this position.

That was a close round but I would say that Mauricio Cash will probably get the nod.

Egham closes the distance and clinches up with Cash, looking for a takedown. Egham pushes Cash against the cage but Cash circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Egham is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Cash postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Egham is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Egham lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Egham's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Egham wants to control from the top but Cash keeps moving.

Cash will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Cash seems keen to control Egham's posture.

Cash really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Cash looks up at the clock. Bad move! Egham lands a right hand from hell, dropping Cash. Egham pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
