The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Singh tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Singh is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The fight stays on the outside here - Singh looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Montanha Singh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Nesto drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Nesto jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Nesto tries for a takedown but Singh sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

A slapping body kick lands there for Nesto.
Singh fails with an attempt to clinch.
Nesto closes the distance and clinches up with Singh, looking for a takedown. Nesto pushes Singh against the ropes but Singh circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Singh fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Nesto sprawls well initially but Singh persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Nesto is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Singh's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Singh's back!

Nesto has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Singh is defending well but eventually Nesto manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Singh has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
