The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baker Jr wants to clinch.
Baker Jr shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Thunder counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Thunder connects with a body shot.
Baker Jr misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Sloppy strikes from Thunder. Those never looked like landing.
Thunder lands a nice hook to Baker Jr's body. Baker Jr takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Baker Jr dives in and grabs Thunder's left leg, looking for a takedown. Thunder pushes down on Baker Jr's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nate Baker Jr. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Thunder cracks Baker Jr with a left hook right on the temple and Baker Jr goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Thunder lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Baker Jr is OK!
