The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Sam Margolis and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cortez misses with a body shot.
Gracie looks to land a combination but Cortez avoids it well.
Gracie lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Cortez at a distance.
Gracie throws out a loose jab but Cortez uses good head movement to avoid it.
Cortez ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
A telegraphed right hand from Cortez misses the target.
Gracie fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Cortez on the side of the head.
Cortez misses with a lunging right hand
and Gracie counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Cortez has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Gracie finds it's way round the side to connect with Cortez's head.
Cortez swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Cortez looks to throw the jab but Gracie is out of range.

Gracie scores with a shot to the body.
Cortez takes a swing at Gracie's ribcage but misses.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Gracie misses with a hook. Cortez ducked under it nicely.

and Cortez counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Cortez slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Cortez works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Gracie tries to buck Cortez off but Cortez is having none of it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cortez looks up at the clock and then as Gracie takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Cortez smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Oooooh, big shot lands for Cortez! Gracie is hurt baaadly! Cortez is firing away with more strikes - Gracie is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
