Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Winston Dupree (ranked 6072 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Des Autels (ranked 6160 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joey Des Autels!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Anthony Taglia and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dupree shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Des Autels pinned against the cage. Des Autels gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Des Autels shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Des Autels was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Des Autels tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Des Autels has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Dupree tries to escape but Des Autels is in control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Joey Des Autels showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Dupree's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Des Autels closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
You can see the frustration on Dupree's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Joey Des Autels comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Des Autels has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
