Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Giuseppe Eckert!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eckert dives in for a single leg takedown but Rylie sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Eckert.
Eckert goes for a double leg but Rylie avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Rylie continues to drive forward.
Ryan Rylie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Giuseppe Eckert.
Rylie fails with the takedown
and Eckert counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Eckert dives in and grabs Rylie's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rylie pushes down on Eckert's head and hops out.
Eckert slaps away a takedown attempt from Rylie, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Rylie really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Eckert's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Eckert might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Rylie haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Eckert creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Eckert drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Rylie manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Eckert has Rylie in his guard.

Rylie moves into full mount! Eckert won't be happy about that!

Rylie tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Eckert is desperately trying to improve his position but Rylie has a good base and remains in mount.
