Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Isoroku Nagumo (ranked 5318 p4p, 552 weight class) and Valentin Hadjiev (ranked 15216 p4p, 743 weight class). Valentin Hadjiev is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hadjiev uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Nagumo.
A jab from Nagumo misses.
Nagumo scores with a nice head shot.

Nagumo punishes Hadjiev's body with a nice straight punch.
Hadjiev closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Nagumo's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nagumo has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Hadjiev has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Hadjiev drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Hadjiev as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Nagumo screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Hadjiev! Nice submission victory there!
