The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doo throws a shot to the body.

Tricott walks into a straight right hand from Doo.
Decent striking displayed by Doo there.
Doo with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Doo bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Tricott's head.
Doo lands a nice shot that snaps Tricott's head back.
Tricott shoots for a takedown but Doo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Doo swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Nice jab there from Doo.
Tricott throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Daba Doo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tricott misses the jab.

Doo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Tricott, pushing him back against the cage.

Doo lands a shot to the body.

Tricott can't break the clinch.
Tricott wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Tricott stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Doo pushes Tricott back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Doo lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Tricott drags the fight down to the ground.

Tricott controls Doo momentarily but Doo frees himself.
Doo wants to stand and escape but instead Tricott has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Tricott has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Doo pushes Tricott off looking to stand but Tricott dives back in and keeps control.

Doo is trying desperately to improve position.
Doo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tricott on the ground.
Doo wants to control but Tricott is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Doo is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Doo tries to hold on but Tricott pushes him away.

Tricott is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Tricott extends the arm and Doo is forced to tap!
