The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lindsey shoots in for a takedown but Jackson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Jackson rushes Lindsey and presses him up against the cage.

Lindsey is fighting off a takedown attempt but Jackson is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Lindsey to the mat. Lindsey regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Lindsey has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Jackson off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Jackson moves into the clinch successfully.

Jackson is pressed up against the cage. Lindsey has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Jackson down to the mat. Jackson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Jackson decides to stand back up.
Jackson tries to bum rush Lindsey with a series of wild strikes but Lindsey uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Jackson is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Lindsey's half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jackson seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Roosevelt Lindsey overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Jackson throws his legs up looking for a submission but Lindsey uses it to pass to side control.

Jackson scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Lindsey manages to mount him!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
