Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kigo Torres (ranked 2013 p4p, 226 weight class) and Johnny Deluxe (ranked 2805 p4p, 296 weight class). Torres comes to the cage accompanied by Unforgiven. Deluxe is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Intelligent Hoodlum - Arrest The President. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deluxe avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Deluxe throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Torres was covering up waiting for the punch and Deluxe finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Torres wants to stand up but Deluxe is controlling him.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Deluxe is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Torres sees it coming and defends easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Torres looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Deluxe connects with a nice short shot to Torres's temple.
Torres pushes Deluxe off looking to stand but Deluxe dives back in and keeps control.
Deluxe wants to lay and pray for a moment but Torres keeps working.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Torres throws a chopping leg kick but Deluxe manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Deluxe moves out of range of the body kick.

and Torres counters with a body kick that stops Deluxe in his tracks momentarily.
Torres throws a low kick, looking for Deluxe's leg but Deluxe calmly moves out of range.
Torres connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Deluxe tumbling to the canvas! Torres pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Deluxe was done - good stoppage!
