The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gilliam shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Ibragimov is trying to defend but Gilliam finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gilliam is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Gilliam winds up and cracks Ibragimov with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Gilliam is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Ibragimov has hold of Gilliam's hands but Gilliam slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ibragimov is controlling Gilliam's trapped leg to prevent Gilliam from advancing to side control.

Gilliam is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Ibragimov is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
