Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ory Caan (ranked 3422 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zerk Manboy (ranked 5995 p4p, 0 weight class). Zerk Manboy will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caan throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Manboy counters with a left and a right that stings Caan.
Manboy throws a hook but Caan blocks it.

Caan moves into the clinch.
Caan lands a body shot in the clinch.
Manboy fails to pull guard.
Manboy is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Caan's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Caan throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Manboys head.
Caan lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Caan pushes Manboy back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Manboy wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Manboy tries to score a body lock takedown but Caan shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Caan has clasped his hands together around Manboy's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Manboy is trying to escape the position but Caan is controlling the position.

Caan is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Manboy will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Manboy takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Ory Caan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Manboy gets tackled into the cage by Caan. Caan maintains the clinch.

Caan prevents the takedown attempt.
Caan lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Caan creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Manboy with a big uppercut! Manboy tries to clinch up but Caan pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Manboy to the mat! Manboy covers up and Caan unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
