Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Ovechkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and G BB (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). G BB will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, G BB!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ovechkin fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. BB sprawls well initially but Ovechkin persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
BB slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Ovechkin thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Ovechkin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. BB swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Ovechkin stops BB from standing up.
BB trying to keep a closed guard but Ovechkin is proving a slippery customer.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Ovechkin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. BB swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Ovechkin tries to clinch up but BB circles away and keeps his distance.
BB bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
BB misses with a two punch combination.
BB works the jab nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round.

BB stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
BB connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Ovechkin! He's out on his feet! BB rushes in and drops Ovechkin with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
