These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ventura's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Bin connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Ventura scrambles back to his feet.

It looks like Anthony Ventura has been cut.
Bin misses the shot to the body.
Ventura avoids the body shot from Bin.
Jab, jab by Bin - just one landing.
A nice leg kick lands there from Bin.
Ventura throws a right and a left that Bin avoids nicely.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Bin lands a slapping body shot.
Ventura misses with a straight right.
Bin dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ventura. That did some damage!
Ventura throws a one two combo.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bin has closed the distance and engaged Ventura in a clinch.
Bin is working Ventura over against the cage.
Ventura looks winded!
Bin lands a shot to the body.
Bin scores with a shoulder strike.

Bin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Bin throws a body punch but Ventura moves out of range.
Bin thuds his shin into the meat of Ventura's side.

Bin closes the distance and clinches.

Bin's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bin throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ventura gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Bin gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

A relieved looking Vunny Bin thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
