PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Togashi Yokuni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teddy LeBear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). LeBear has chosen Care Bear Tv Intro as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LeBear circles away from the clinch attempt.
LeBear doesn't manage to clinch there - Yokuni circles away.

and Yokuni counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in LeBear's guard now.
Yokuni is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Yokuni looking to pass the guard.
LeBear wants to stand but Yokuni is controlling the position.

Yokuni is looking to work some ground and pound but LeBear has wrist control.

Yokuni thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Yokuni postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. LeBear looks a forlorn figure.

Yokuni is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But LeBear has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from LeBear!

Yokuni working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. LeBear doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. LeBear manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Yokuni has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Yokuni there as he acknowledges the shot.
Yokuni takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
LeBear tries to clinch up

and Yokuni counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
LeBear is looking to escape.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Yokuni is tying to control. LeBear wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Yokuni has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
