Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ruger darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ruger working the head and body with strikes.
Ruger working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Ward is rocked!
The fighters are battling for position here. Ward manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Ward is still in real trouble! Can Ruger finish him?
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ruger loads up on a big left hand. Ward felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Ruger looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Ward can't hide his disappointment, as Ruger celebrates the victory.
