Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Better Dead (ranked 1123 p4p, 138 weight class) and Synyx Dall (ranked 1435 p4p, 170 weight class). Dead's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Death March - Motionless in White. Dall has chosen In Scarlet Storm as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 14 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Synyx Dall!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Richard Clark and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dead slips under a jab from Dall.
Dead looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Dead throws a hook to the side of Dall's head but Dall sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Dead tries to clinch but Dall is having none of it.
Dead misses with the combination.
Dall doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.

Dead clinches up against the cage.
Dall lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Dead comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

It looks like Synyx Dall has been cut.

Dall decides to pull guard.
Dead slips nicely into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dead tries to stand and escape but Dall actually recovers to full guard.
Dead wants to control from the top but Dall keeps moving.
Dall is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Dead looking to pass the guard.
Dead trying to control but Dall is working from the bottom.
Dead advances to half guard.
Dead seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dall does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Dead is looking to stall in half guard but Dall is in no mood to hang around. He's locked up a Kimura from the bottom and has used it to sweep! He's held on to the kimura and is looking to finish here... will he get it... YES! Dead taps out and the crowd goes crazy! Great finish!
