Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hannibal Barca (ranked 92 p4p, 17 weight class) and Ozzy McKane (ranked 372 p4p, 49 weight class). Barca comes into the arena with Carthage blaring out of the sound system. McKane has chosen SAIL - AWOLNATION as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
27 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hannibal Barca!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

42 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ozzy McKane!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McKane throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Barca on the side of the head.
Barca tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but McKane defends well and Barca ends up having to push McKane into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
A chopping leg kick lands by McKane.
A slow jab from Barca misses its intended target.
McKane looks to score with a jab to the body but Barca is just out of range.
McKane throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
McKane smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Barca thows a left - swing and a miss!
McKane looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Barca fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McKane manages to avoid it.

McKane throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Barca sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Barca drops down looking for a counter takedown but McKane sprawls and moves away.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Barca is defended easily by McKane.

McKane moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Barca takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

McKane is trying to maintain the position but Barca is very close to passing his half guard.

McKane tries to get to full guard but Barca has control of the leg.
Barca is keen to just control but McKane is a slippery customer.

Barca has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
McKane is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

McKane has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Barca can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

McKane wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

I would just about give that final round to Ozzy McKane.

After the fight, Ozzy McKane was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
Hannibal Barca spoke after the fight, saying 'I will either find a way, or make one.'.
