Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Damian Anderson (ranked 3630 p4p, 437 weight class) and Darryl Rose (ranked 3499 p4p, 427 weight class). Rose has chosen Mobb Deep - Shook ones as his entrance music. Darryl Rose told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Damian Anderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Darryl Rose!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Hirohito Nitta and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rose tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Anderson swivels and escapes.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Rose.
Rose walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Rose lands an overhand right.
It looks like Damian Anderson has been cut.
Rose tries to bum rush Anderson with a series of wild strikes but Anderson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Rose decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Anderson's guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Darryl Rose got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
