The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from The Finisher does it's job there.
Gillberg on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
A jab-cross combination lands for Gillberg and sends The Finisher crashing to the mat! Gillberg follows him down to the mat - The Finisher regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

It looks like Ilir The Finisher has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The Finisher had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Gillberg is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. The Finisher Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Gillberg's back instead.

The Finisher jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Gillberg manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Gillberg is looking for a sweep. The Finisher is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The Finisher is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Gillberg wants to sweep but no luck.

Gillberg has his foot on The Finisher's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. The Finisher works his way back into a safe position though.

Gillberg seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. The Finisher shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Gillberg is backing up but The Finisher catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Gillberg covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! The Finisher Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
