The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bailey gets a clinch.
Bailey has a couple of punches blocked by Iruscek.
Iruscek tries to break free but Bailey pushes him back against the cage.
Bailey misses with a punch on the inside.
Iruscek tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Bailey just stands there and leans against the cage.
Iruscek fails to pull guard.
Bailey tries to land knees in the clinch but Iruscek avoids the damage to the body.
Bailey swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Bailey prevents a body shot from Iruscek.

Bailey breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Iruscek is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Bailey is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Johnnie Bailey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tvica Iruscek.

Bailey turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Bailey manages to end up in side control.

Bailey seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Bailey postures up and lands a big shot to Iruscek's brow.

Iruscek bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bailey's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Iruscek wants to control but Bailey is keeping him busy.
Bailey scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Iruscek manages to mount him!
Bailey might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Bailey is in all sorts of trouble here.
Iruscek tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

You get the feeling that Bailey really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Iruscek is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Bailey is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Bailey flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Iruscek anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Bailey and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Iruscek slips an arm under Bailey chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Iruscek has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Iruscek is squeezing on Bailey like an anaconda would it's prey. Bailey fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
