The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body kick there by Tom.
Tom decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Mikson makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Tom dives in for a single leg takedown but Mikson sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Tom is trying to drag Mikson to the mat but Mikson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Tom breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
