And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lars Romanow!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Eddie Farnsworth and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis throws a nice looking combination but Romanow bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Davis clinches up against the cage.
Romanow throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Daviss head.
Romanow doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Romanow can't find room to land a body shot as Davis controls the action.
A head punch on the inside from Davis fails to land.
Romanow throws a punch but it's blocked by Davis.
Romanow tries to work over Davis's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Romanow is stalling here.
Davis is working Romanow over against the cage.
Romanow lands a nice uppercut.
Romanow lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Davis backwards.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Romanow lands a nice elbow from the clinch.


It looks like Sherm Davis has been cut.
Romanow lands a hook to the side of the head.
Romanow lands a right hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Romanow pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Davis's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Davis goes for a takedown in the clinch but Romanow prevents it.

Romanow tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Davis's elbow.
Romanow lands an elbow inside.
A short right from Romanow on the inside.


Davis is rocked!
Davis struggles to land a body shot inside as Romanow controls his hands.
Oh Davis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Romanow throws an elbow but it misses.
Davis definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Romanow blocking some punches.
Romanow lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Romanow prevents a body shot from Davis.
A head punch on the inside from Davis fails to land.
Romanow pushes Davis back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Romanow lands a hook that snaps the head of Davis backwards.
Romanow lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Davis or not.
Romanow scores with a hook to the body.
Romanow has Davis pressed against the cage. He pushes Davis back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Romanow throws a beautiful elbow that sends Davis crashing to the floor! Romanow piles on the pressure with more strikes! Davis is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lars Romanow!
A relieved looking Lars Romanow thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
