The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
SIlva scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
SIlva trying to control the action but Harrell is working from the bottom.
SIlva might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Harrell haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Harrell manages to work his way to half guard, despite SIlva's best efforts.
SIlva landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Harrell wants to control but SIlva is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Harrell knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for SIlva on the ground.
SIlva looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

SIlva blocks the strikes from Harrell.
SIlva maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Harrell could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but SIlva has cracked it and Harrell is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by SIlva!
