Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tony Bunker (ranked 683 p4p, 73 weight class) and Brando Reigns (ranked 967 p4p, 103 weight class). Reigns has chosen Tragedy as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Brando Reigns was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tony Bunker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brando Reigns!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Saam Ante and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reigns swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bunker looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
A head kick misses from Reigns.
Bunker throws a push kick but Reigns slaps the foot to one side.
Reigns looks for a takedown but Bunker sprawls well.
Bunker swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Reigns throws a half hearted mid kick.
Bunker moves out of range as Reigns throws a body kick.
Bunker throws a big shot that misses.
Reigns pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Reigns throws a half hearted mid kick.
Reigns throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bunker throws a leg kick but Reigns checks it.

Reigns has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Bunker tests Reigns's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Reigns is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Bunker fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Reigns has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tony Bunker will probably get the nod.

Reigns jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bunker walks away with a smile on his face. Reigns gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Bunker takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Reigns takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Bunker lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
