Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Pickledoo (ranked 3109 p4p, 101 weight class) and Poly Sam (ranked 3395 p4p, 113 weight class). Pickledoo comes to the cage accompanied by Butthole Surfers - Who Was in My Room Last Night. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pickledoo misses with an uppercut.
Sam misses with a hook.
Pickledoo throws a hook but Sam blocks it.
Pickledoo ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Sam scores with a hook to the body. Pickledoo takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Sam takes one to the side of the head.

It looks like Poly Sam has been cut.
Sam has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Sam forces Pickledoo back against the cage and clinches.
Sam blocks an uppercut.
Sam lands a right hand.
Sam swings wildly with an uppercut but Pickledoo uses good head movement to avoid it.

Pickledoo uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Sam.
Sam throws a hook but Pickledoo blocks it.

Pickledoo lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
We've been told by Pickledoo's head coaches at Big dawg that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Sam moves forwards but Pickledoo connects with a nice, crisp jab.

That has opened up Poly Sam's cut even more.
Pickledoo does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Sam closes the distance and clinches.
Sam lands a body punch.
Sam lands an uppercut.

Pickledoo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Sam throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Pickledoo will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Sam rushes Pickledoo and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Pickledoo struggles to land a body shot inside as Sam controls his hands.
Sam tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sam can't find room to land a body shot as Pickledoo controls the action.

Sam lands a left hand.
A head punch on the inside from Pickledoo fails to land.

Pickledoo is looking to control Sam's arms but Sam gets an underhook and turns him. Now Pickledoo has his back to the cage.
Sam misses with a short punch on the inside.
Pickledoo throws a punch but it's blocked by Sam.
Sam misses with the head strike.
Sam lands a shoulder strike.
Sam tries to work over Pickledoo's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Pickledoo manages to break the clinch.
Pickledoo throws a body punch but Sam moves out of range.
Pickledoo throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Sam tries to close the distance and clinch but Pickledoo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Pickledoo throws a body shot but no joy.
Pickledoo goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Pickledoo gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Sam connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Pickledoo throws a body punch but Sam moves out of range.

Pickledoo was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Sam on the wrong end of a nice hook.

The cut above Poly Sam's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Pickledoo lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Sam at a distance.
Sam misses with an uppercut.
Pickledoo seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Sam blocks the body kick.
Pickledoo swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Sam counters with a stiff right hand.
Sam misses with a lunging right hand
and Pickledoo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Pickledoo scores with the left hand. Sam knows he should have avoided that one.

Poly Sam's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Sam tries to clinch up but Pickledoo circles away and keeps his distance.
Sam tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Pickledoo counters with a lovely shot to the body.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Sam tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pickledoo paws at him with a jab and circles away.
As Sam backs away, Pickledoo returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Pickledoo throws a front kick aimed at Sam's knee but Sam avoids it well.
Pickledoo just misses with a punch to the body.
Sam ducks under a wild hook from Pickledoo.
Sam throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Pickledoo is looking to counter punch.

Sam moves into the clinch successfully.

Pickledoo's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
