Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marc Dupuis (ranked 7608 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Burnley (ranked 3207 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Burnley's choice of entrance music: "Joyride (Omen)" by Chevelle. Marc Dupuis could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Adam Burnley's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marc Dupuis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Adam Burnley!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Wagner Zegers and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burnley scores with a shot to the body.
Dupuis takes one to the side of the head.
Good standup being displayed there by Burnley as he connects with a hook.
Dupuis doesn't manage to clinch there - Burnley circles away.
A big left from Dupuis misses.
A head kick misses from Dupuis.
Burnley dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Burnley scores with a jab to the head.
A jab from Burnley finds it's way through Dupuis's defenses.
Burnley throws a shot to the body.
Dupuis closes the distance but Burnley moves to the side
and Burnley counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Burnley lands a nice looking body shot.
Burnley comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Nice body punch from Burnley.
Dupuis takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Dupuis is breathing heavily.
Dupuis moves forwards but Burnley connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Dupuis takes one to the side of the head.
Burnley getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Burnley connects with the punch.
Burnley lands a lovely overhand right.
Burnley drops Dupuis with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Dupuis looks back up at him and smiles so Burnley waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Dupuis is rocked!
Dupuis tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Burnley counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Oh Dupuis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Burnley fakes the body blow, causing Dupuis to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Dupuis goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Adam Burnley!

Marc Dupuis spoke after the fight, saying 'Fuck you'.
