Burgess gets the takedown into side control.
Sousa manages to work his way to half guard, despite Burgess's best efforts.
Sousa manages to get to full guard.
Burgess has gone for a leg lock! Sousa slips out almost immediately though and dives into Burgess's guard.
Sousa landing with the ground and pound.
Burgess is looking to stand back up but Sousa counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Burgess.
Sousa slips a nice elbow through Burgess's hands, connecting with Burgess's forehead.
Burgess is rocked!
Sousa is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Burgess is hurt! He's hurt bad - Sousa fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Burgess from any more punishment! Congratulations to Sousa! Great finish!
