The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Casuba smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Casuba looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Amsterdam tries to clinch but Casuba moves out of range.

Amsterdam manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Casuba on his heels. He'll look to pass Casuba's guard now, I'm sure.
Amsterdam is fighting to break Casuba's control of his arms but Casuba is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Amsterdam stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Casuba swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Amsterdam is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Amsterdam wants to control from the top but Casuba keeps moving.
Casuba looking for a sweep. Not yet Casuba, not yet.

Amsterdam trying to control but Casuba is working from the bottom.
Casuba is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Amsterdam is looking to clinch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Casuba.
Casuba swats away the attempt to clinch by Amsterdam.
Amsterdam sets himself, and Casuba steps forward looking for the clinch! Amsterdam avoids it this time.

Amsterdam drops Casuba with a beautiful combination! Casuba stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Amsterdam is looking for the KO!

Casuba is rocked!

It looks like Gigi Casuba has been cut.
Amsterdam throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Casuba is still on wobbly legs! Can Amsterdam finish him?

Amsterdam pushes Casuba up against the cage in a clinch.
Amsterdam misses with an elbow over the top.

Amsterdam pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Casuba fails with an attempt to clinch.
Amsterdam changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Amsterdam shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Casuba is on queer street and Amsterdam is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!
