Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Luke Bailey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kris Cringle!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cringle throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bailey feinted with a counter takedown.

It looks like Luke Bailey has been cut.
Cringle connects with a body shot.
Cringle throws a body punch but Bailey moves out of range.
Bailey avoids the body shot from Cringle.

Kris Cringle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cringle throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Cringle listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Cringle connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Bailey's hands.
Bailey shoots in but Cringle avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Cringle doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Cringle fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bailey looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Bailey takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Cringle connects with a body shot.
Cringle lands with a shot to the body.

Bailey closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
What's Cringle going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle.

Bailey thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Cringle tries to get back to half guard but can't.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bailey tries to advance to mount but Cringle denies him.

Bailey wants to control but Cringle is keeping him busy.
Cringle is looking for a sweep.
Cringle really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bailey. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Bailey is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Cringle knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Bailey is trying to get an arm triangle but Cringle is defending well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bailey has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bailey cracks Cringle with a big right hand but Cringle just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Cringle gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bailey is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Cringle has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Bailey has control of Cringle's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Cringle regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Cringle has left one of his arms exposed and Bailey doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Cringle screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
