Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lebron James!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Uoy Kcuf!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Eddie Farnsworth and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Kcuf. Those never looked like landing.
Kcuf throws a hook but James avoids it easily.
Kcuf shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has James pinned against the cage. James gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from James.
Kcuf gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows James to score an easy takedown into full guard.
James wants to stand but Kcuf is controlling his posture from full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
James is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kcuf is trying to control the position but James postures up.
James engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Kcuf looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
James tries to free his leg and advance position but Kcuf is retaining full guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
James shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Kcuf tries to kick James off but James keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
James looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Kcuf looks like he's trying to stand up.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
James seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
James has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Kcuf defend it? James steps over the head and cranks it - Kcuf is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for James!
