Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Silas Monk (ranked 206 p4p, 24 weight class) and Francisco dAnconia (ranked 262 p4p, 32 weight class). Monk's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Fucka Bjorn. dAnconia is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Revolution. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Monk scores with a crisp jab that stopped dAnconia in his tracks.
Monk lands a big head kick that sends dAnconia tumbling to the mat! Monk takes a step backwards and waves dAnconia back to his feet - he wants the finish!
dAnconia is rocked!
It looks like Francisco dAnconia has been cut.
dAnconia misses with a kick to the body
and Monk finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
dAnconia is still on wobbly legs! Can Monk finish him?

dAnconia has his takedown stuffed
and Monk counters with a right, left combo that wobbles dAnconia badly! Monk follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks dAnconia out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Monk finished him against the cage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Silas Monk!
Silas Monk decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
Francisco dAnconia was interviewed post fight and said 'Who is John Galt?'.
