The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mison changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Mison misses with a few strikes there.
Baroni takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

It looks like Joey Baroni has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Baroni moves in looking to clinch but Mison pushes him off.
Mison lands a really nice looking cross but Baroni seems unphased.
Baroni defending well as Mison loads up on a big left hand.
Mison throws a jab but it's blocked by Baroni.
Mison swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Mison lands a right hand that snaps the head of Baroni backwards.

Mison swings wildly with an uppercut but Baroni uses good head movement to avoid it.
Mison throws a head punch that misses.
Mison makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Mison misses with a short punch on the inside.
Baroni blocking some punches.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Mison.
Mison misses with a hook from the clinch.
Baroni is trying to break the clinch but Mison has him pressed against the cage.
Baroni lands a left hand.
A right handed body shot lands from Mison.

Mison breaks from the clinch.
Baroni avoids the head kick by Mison.
Mison throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Mison sends Baroni crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Mison is motioning to the referee to let Baroni up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Baroni fails with an attempt to clinch.

Joey Baroni seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
