Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Mueller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simo Silakka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thomas Mueller has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mueller needs to keep his hands up - Silakka had a free shot at his head there.
Mueller shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Silakka as he avoids it easily.
Silakka throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mueller.
Silakka will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mueller changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Silakka tries to avoid it but Mueller manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Silakka to the ground. Silakka escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Mueller fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Thomas Mueller. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Silakka swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Mueller takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Silakka throws a hook but Mueller avoids it easily.
Mueller shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Silakka as he avoids it easily.
Silakka lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Silakka.
Silakka throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mueller.
Silakka's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Silakka duly obliges.
Nice takedown defense from Silakka. No joy for Mueller on that attempt.
Silakka lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mueller circles away quickly and effectively.
Silakka fails to land with a series of punches.
Silakka lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Silakka fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Mueller looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Mueller really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Mueller is breathing heavily.
Silakka misses with a wild combination.
Silakka looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Silakka throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Silakka misses with a hook.
Silakka throws a right and a left that both miss.
Silakka misses the shot to the body.
Silakka uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Mueller shoots in looking for a takedown. Silakka tries to sprawl out of it but Mueller keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Silakka manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Mueller takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Mueller shoots in but Silakka avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Mueller shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Silakka goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Mueller is rocked!
Silakka rushes Mueller with punches - Mueller moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Mueller goes down! Silakka follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
