PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Flavio Guidi (ranked 6652 p4p, 605 weight class) and Anthony Davis (ranked 8165 p4p, 672 weight class). Davis is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: "Enter Sandman" - Metallica. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis throws a sloppy head kick

and Guidi counters with a perfectly timed counter left hook that drops Davis to the mat, face first! Guidi goes to the neutral corner and waits for the referee to start the count. Davis is back to hise feet already though and looking to continue the bout! Exciting stuff!

It looks like Anthony Davis has been cut.
Guidi looks to land a left hand but Davis moved out of range nicely.
Davis slips a straight right by Guidi.
A jab from Guidi misses.
Guidi on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Davis ducks into a a hook from Guidi and goes down! He looks in a bit of a mess; will he beat the count?! 4,5,6,7,8 - he's up and looking to carry on! The referee looks into his eyes and sees that he's OK to continue!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Guidi connects with a body shot that sends Davis's belly button to the back.
Guidi throws a body punch but Davis moves out of range.
Davis throws a big counter head kick but Guidi avoids it with no problem.
Guidi waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Davis.
Davis throws a chopping leg kick but Guidi manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Davis throws a leg kick but Guidi moved away.
Guidi swings for the body but Davis moves out of range.
Guidi ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Davis out cold! The fight is over!
