Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bradley Ball!
The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Winston Howard and Topper Green.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ball fails to land with a series of punches.

Ball closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Ball throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Ball wants to stand but Mcmillan is controlling his arm.
Mcmillan wants to get back to his feet.
Ball tries to advance to mount but Mcmillan denies him.
Ball lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Mcmillan down.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mcmillan parries the strikes from Ball easily there. Ball is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Mcmillan to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Ball has Mcmillan up against the cage in a clinch.

Ball has hold of one of Mcmillan's legs. Mcmillan is fighting the takedown attempt but Ball gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Mcmillan manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
The referee is keeping an eye on Ball - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Ball is trying to break the clinch but Mcmillan has him pressed against the cage.

Mcmillan pulls guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Mcmillan wants to stand and escape but Ball is having none of it.
Mcmillan trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Mcmillan is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Mcmillan prevents Ball from standing back up.
Ball has hold of Mcmillan's hands but Mcmillan slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Ball is looking for a sweep. Mcmillan is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Ball looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Ball wants to get back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Mcmillan working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Mcmillan lands with a punch from half guard.
Ball has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mcmillan is working away from the top position though.
Ball looks winded!
Ball is trying to stand back up but Mcmillan is controlling him
Ball on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Mcmillan scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Ball really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mcmillan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ball wants to get back to full guard.
Mcmillan lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Mcmillan is nestled in close to Ball, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Mcmillan passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Ball!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mcmillan lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hyman Mcmillan dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Ball clinches with his opponent.
Mcmillan keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Ball's efforts to push away.

Mcmillan jumps guard and drags Ball to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Mcmillan has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Ball off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Ball has taken the fight to the clinch.

Ball pulls guard.

Mcmillan stands up over Ball, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Mcmillan lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Ball is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Mcmillan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Mcmillan postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Mcmillan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Mcmillan cracks Ball with a solid left hand.
Mcmillan is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Ball can do to turn this around?
Mcmillan lands a couple of digs.
Mcmillan won't allow Ball to sweep him here.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Mcmillan's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Mcmillan makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Mcmillan working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Ball's head.
Mcmillan is in close to Ball's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Ball is still in real trouble! Can Mcmillan finish him?
Mcmillan scoring with some ground and pound.
Mcmillan loads up on a big left hand. Ball felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Mcmillan looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Ball can't hide his disappointment, as Mcmillan celebrates the victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hyman Mcmillan!
