Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tyrus Ty (ranked 5965 p4p, 599 weight class) and William Lindham (ranked 4488 p4p, 0 weight class). William Lindham has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ty looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Lindham!

Ty is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Lindham knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Ty decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Ty shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Lindham napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Lindham felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

The referee asks Ty politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Ty prefers to stall for the moment though.

Ty tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ty has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Ty tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Ty really is a fat lump.
Lindham is bucking up trying to escape but Ty cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Ty has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Ty is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Lindham to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Lindham shrugs it off.

Lindham really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ty. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Ty lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.

Lindham pushes Ty up against the cage in a clinch.
Lindham on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Ty tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Lindham smiles and moves away.
Ty is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Lindham can do to turn this around?

Lindham steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Ty.
Lindham tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ty manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Lindham creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Ty is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Lindham to keep the fight standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lindham lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Oh Ty is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lindham lands a nice shot to the body.
Lindham gets through Ty's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Lindham dips a shoulder and cracks Ty with a mighty uppercut! Ty falls back against the cage and Lindham unloads with a barrage of strikes! Ty is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Lindham screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
