The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGucken throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
McGucken tries for a takedown but Da Rocha circles away easily
and Da Rocha counters with a stiff right hand.

McGucken closes the distance and pushes Da Rocha back into the cage.

Da Rocha gets control of McGucken's arms and successfully pulls guard. Da Rocha will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
McGucken postures up and lands a big shot to Da Rocha's brow.
McGucken postures up in Da Rocha's guard and throws a big left but Da Rocha blocks it.

McGucken avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Da Rocha escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. McGucken gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

McGucken has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Da Rocha is proving hard to escape from.
