Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mantis Toboggan (ranked 3619 p4p, 440 weight class) and Seun Adedji (ranked 2637 p4p, 339 weight class). Seun Adedji has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Seun Adedji!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adedji stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Adedji is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Toboggan.
Adedji tries to close the distance and clinch but Toboggan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Toboggan swings for the body but Adedji moves out of range.
Toboggan takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Adedji fails with an attempt to clinch.
Adedji tries to close the distance and clinch up but Toboggan swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Toboggan tries to clinch up but Adedji circles away and keeps his distance.
Adedji misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Toboggan.
Toboggan moves away from the strike by Adedji.

Toboggan closes the distance and clinches.
Toboggan swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Adedji lands a body shot.
Toboggan lands a left hand that snaps the head of Adedji backwards.
Toboggan takes a knee to the side of the body.
Adedji lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Toboggan backwards.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Toboggan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Toboggan misses with a looping right.
Adedji fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Toboggan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Adedji moves away.
Adedji jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Adedji fails in his attempt to clinch.
Adedji lands a right hook to the body.
Toboggan is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Adedji takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Toboggan misses with a looping left.

Toboggan clinches with his opponent.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
A knee to the head by Adedji.
Adedji misses with a knee to the head.
Toboggan blocks a body shot from Adedji.
A nice right hand lands inside from Toboggan.

Adedji breaks the clinch.
A big right from Adedji misses.
The fighters circle momentarily. Toboggan darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Adedji takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Toboggan connects with a right hand. Adedji shakes it off.

Toboggan takes one on the button.
Toboggan misses with a wild body shot.
Adedji just misses with a punch to the body.
Toboggan slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Adedji throws a body shot but no joy.
Toboggan throwing a counter right hand but Adedji manages to avoid it.
Toboggan tries to move into range but Adedji moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Adedji's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Toboggan connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Adedji scrambles back to his feet.
Mantis Toboggan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Toboggan lands a slapping body shot.
Adedji scores with a jab to the jaw.
Adedji takes a swing at Toboggan's ribcage but misses.
Toboggan slips a straight right by Adedji.
Toboggan lands a glancing blow to the side of Adedji's head.

Adedji is rocked!
Adedji gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Toboggan points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Adedji wakes up just in time to hear Toboggan thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
