The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobs tries to clinch up but Dormier circles away and keeps his distance.
Dormier shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jacobs sprawls well. Jacobs wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dormier gets slowly back to his feet.
Dormier closes the distance and clinches up with Jacobs, looking for a takedown. Dormier pushes Jacobs against the cage but Jacobs circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
