The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shaw shoots in but Dick avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Shaw looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Dick shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Dick throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Shaw.
Shaw tries to counter with a takedown but Dick is quick to defend against it.

Dick drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Dick's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Dick pushes down on Shaw's leg and manages to get into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Dick connects with a nice short shot to Shaw's temple.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dick seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Shaw is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
