The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rubin cracks Wade with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Wade looks for a takedown but Rubin sprawls well.
Rubin throws a right and a left that Wade avoids nicely.
A telegraphed right hand from Wade misses the target.
Rubin connects with a body shot that sends Wade's belly button to the back.
Rubin misses with a body shot.
Wade tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Rubin feints the counter takedown.
Rubin takes one on the button.

Rubin shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Rubin showed some decent athleticism there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wade tries to bench press Rubin off him but Rubin keeps the position.

Wade takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wade tries to buck Rubin off but Rubin is having none of it.

Wade throws a few strikes from the bottom but Rubin takes advantage and mounts!
Rubin softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Wade is out cold! Rubin jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
