Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cloud Strife (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Al Pal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strife connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Pal misses with a double jab.
Pal closes the distance and clinches up with Strife, looking for a takedown. Pal pushes Strife against the cage but Strife circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Pal tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Strife paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Pal changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Strife looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Strife wants to get back to his feet.
Pal tries to move to mount but Strife blocks the move with his legs.

Pal has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Pal tries to clinch but Strife moves out of range.
Strife fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Strife works over Pal's head and body with a nice combination.

It looks like Al Pal has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pal looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Strife is fending him off so far but Pal persists. Nope, Strife circles away and we're back to standing.
Pal tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Strife is looking to clinch.
Strife throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Pal closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Pal looks gassed!
Strife makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Strife.
Pal postures up.
Pal would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Strife trying to keep a closed guard but Pal is proving a slippery customer.

Strife working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pal doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pal manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Pal is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Strife looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Strife preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Pal content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Pal postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Strife is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Pal, into his guard.
Pal wants to stand and escape but Strife is having none of it.
Pal wants to sweep but no luck.

Strife gets to his feet. Pal looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Strife misses with a double jab

and Pal counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Pal prevents Strife from standing back up.
Strife is refusing to be controlled, as Pal sits in half guard.
Strife is trying to control but can't.
Pal stops Strife from getting back to his feet.
Strife wants to control the action here but instead Pal manages to pass to full mount!
Pal wants to control the pace but Strife is squirming around nicely.
Strife is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Pal goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Strife turns into him and now he's in Pal's guard.
Strife wants to control from the top but Pal keeps moving.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Pal looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Strife has picked Pal up and slammed him! Pal can't keep hold of the triangle and Strife manages to pass to side control!

Pal wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Strife has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Pal's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Pal is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Strife!
