Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rex Ruger (ranked 1641 p4p, 84 weight class) and Bill Como (ranked 2691 p4p, 136 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Como dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ruger. That did some damage!
Good leg kick by Como there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Ruger closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Como is trying to get back to full guard.
Como keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Como is refusing to be controlled, as Ruger sits in half guard.
Ruger landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Ruger seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Como on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Como tries to roll over but Ruger keeps him under control.
Ruger wants to lay and pray for a moment but Como keeps working.

Como makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Como.
Ruger in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Ruger with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Como is rocked!
Ruger postures up.
Como is still in real trouble! Can Ruger finish him?
Ruger chips away with some ground and pound.
Como controls Ruger momentarily but Ruger frees himself.
Como wants to sweep here but Ruger controlling him for the moment.
Ruger postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Como covers up, he's hurt! Ruger keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Ruger and the ref steps in to end the fight! Ruger can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
