We've been told by Karlsson's head coaches at Kalashnikov MMA Gym ($500/Week) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Avalon has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Avalon ducks under a wild hook from Karlsson.
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Karlsson moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Avalon! Karlsson continues to tee off on Avalon, landing with a left and a right! Karlsson connects with a right hand that leaves Avalon sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Karlsson!
