Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shingo Takeda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stone comes into a darkened arena with his song building. I stand alone - Godsmack kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
An inside leg kick from Stone misses.
Stone looks to land a left hand but Takeda moved out of range nicely.
Takeda tries to clinch there but Stone circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Takeda takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Stone tries to bum rush Takeda with a series of wild strikes but Takeda uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

The fight stays on the outside here - Takeda looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Stone jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Takeda fails in his attempt to clinch.
Stone throws a series of punches but Takeda avoids them all with ease.
Stone misses with a double jab.
Takeda is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Shingo Takeda will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Stone throws a nice looking combination but Takeda bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
No joy there for Stone, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Andy Stone comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Stone has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
