Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Semenko lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Machado slips a jab from Semenko.
We've been hearing reports that Machado has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Semenko throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Machado slips under a jab.
Machado buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Semenko tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Machado was well out of range. Poor timing from Semenko.
Machado tries to score a power double leg takedown but Semenko sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Machado somewhat.
Machado has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Semenko finds it's way round the side to connect with Machado's head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Semenko looks to land a left hand but Machado moved out of range nicely.

Semenko has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Machado thows a left - swing and a miss!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Machado crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Semenko - the referee stops the clock and Machado gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Semenko. Machado manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Machado leaves his chin hanging out and Semenko seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Machado crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
