The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aliev misses with a takedown attempt - William sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
William is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Aliev.
William keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Aliev shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and William counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Fabian William has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Albert Aliev.
Aliev goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

William tightens his grip and picks Aliev up, before dumping him to the ground. Aliev manages to land in guard.
Aliev is wriggling around but William manages to pass to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
