Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Wills (ranked 8365 p4p, 230 weight class) and Yoshimitzu Sakuraba (ranked 6245 p4p, 187 weight class). Wills comes to the cage accompanied by Shattered-by A PERFECT CIRCLE. Yoshimitzu Sakuraba will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wills fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sakuraba avoids it really well and circles away.
A head kick misses from Sakuraba.
We've been hearing reports that Wills has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Wills takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Wills thows a left - swing and a miss!
Wills throws a hook to the side of Sakuraba's head but Sakuraba sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Wills takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Wills chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Sakuraba can pounce on him.
Sakuraba fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Sakuraba throws out a powerful jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sakuraba throws a head kick that misses.
Wills throws a hook but Sakuraba blocks it.
Sakuraba jabs Wills to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Sakuraba throws a leg kick which misses Wills's front leg but catches the back leg as Wills tries to avoid it.
Wills throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Wills decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Sakuraba tries to roll over but Wills keeps him under control.

Wills maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Sakuraba could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Wills has cracked it and Sakuraba is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Wills!
