The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gal clinches up against the cage.
Gal is trying to stall.
Ewing lands a nice shot to the body.

Gal jumps into guard, dragging Ewing to the mat.
Gal preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Ewing throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Gal works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Gal trying to control the position.
Ewing prevents Gal from getting back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gal is trying to keep Ewing in close.
Ewing working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Ewing postures up and lands a big shot to Gal's brow.
Gal working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Ewing.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gal wants to stand but Ewing is controlling the position.

Gal has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Ewing doesn't defend quickly enough and Gal has managed to lock this one up! Can Ewing escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Gal on a fantastic submission victory.
